Do More By Doing Less 🧘🏻‍♀️

Updated: Nov 14, 2022

A few weeks ago, I was feeling burned out. Working felt like trying to squeeze the last drop of creativity out of an already squeezed lemon. And then I came across this great image:

That's when it really hit home for me that being productive is not really about doing more.

It's about doing a few things more consistently.

Maybe that's what they mean about working smarter, not harder.

The bad news is that ADHDers struggle with consistency, follow-through and balancing productivity with recharging. This leaves us drained and depleted a lot of the time. The good news is that a little bit of self-care goes a long way in allowing us to become more productive. And consistency is something you can nurture and grow with the right scaffolding. Try My Good Habits Guide to help you welcome good habits into your life.

You don’t Need to Work Harder! You just need support. That support can come in various forms:

  • Accountability provided by a workout group or a walking partner.

  • App blockers that turn your screens off at midnight.

  • Ordering prepared healthy food.

  • Checking in with your ADHD coach on habits you're trying to build.

So as we move towards the end of a busy holidaying April, think about what rejuvenates you.

Comment below and let me know what energizing self-care activity you want to do more consistently, and I'll strategize with you!
